Job description

Paid Intern, Blumhouse – Post Production

Blumhouse is seeking interns to support our Post Production department for Fall 2026 from August 31 to December 18. You will have the exciting opportunity to learn about the Post Production process and have access to the finishing process for feature films. We work hard to make our internship as relevant, timely, and hands on. This is an in-person internship; virtual options are not available.

Compensation: $18.50/hour (part time) and school credit available

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or no longer than 1 year post undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
  • Work 20 hours/week in person
  • Strong interest or prior experience in post-production, film editing, sound editing, VFX, DI color or production management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to handle fast-paced environments and various personalities.
  • Organized, technology savvy, and willing to take initiative
  • Must be good with time management and able to multitask
  • Possess a valid California (Class C) driver's license
Responsibilities:
  • Attend final mix, ADR sessions, VFX reviews
  • Perform basic administrative duties and day-to-day tasks
  • Watch Blumhouse movies
  • Maintain drive inventory, package deliverables, update intern list and reports, and maintain editor availability list
  • Opportunities to attend creative company events, gatherings, and screenings in LA, however not mandatory
  • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
  • Attend company meetings, Speaker Series, and intern-specific meetings with executives, directors, and talent
