Are you looking for a new opportunity to work as a Marine Coordinator - Vetting? In this role, you will be based in Houston, Texas. You will be is responsible for managing the vessel vetting and clearance program under the direction of the Marine Manager. In this role, you will support marine-related audits and assurance programs while providing technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations for crude oil, product, chemical, and equipment shipments.
Salary Range: $118,000 - $137,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Industry leader with 10+years of experience in the marine and shipping industry with an emphasis on marine assurance and operations
  • Minimum 5 years of sailing experience on tankers at least Management level
  • Knowledge of Ship Inspection Report/Chemical Distribution Institute/Offshore Vessel Inspection Database
  • Knowledge of marine related Incident / Accident Investigation
  • Relevant nautical degree /certification commensurate with Senior Management rank on board vessel

Responsibilities:
  • Manage vessel vetting and clearance program under Marine Manager
  • Assist Marine Manager in marine related technical audits and assurance programs
  • Provide expertise on marine technical and operational matters, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations of shipments of crude oil, products, chemicals and equipment
  • Ensure company and regulatory industry compliance
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are accredited OCIMF- SIRE 2.0 Inspectors and /or experience in carrying out OCIMF - MTMSA & TMSA Audits

Location and other Key details:
  • You will work out of the Houston office, located at 2 Allen Centre, 1200 Smith St
  • This role is office based, hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
