Veterinary Practice Manager

Felix & Fido Veterinary Care is seeking a motivated Practice Manager to lead daily operations and support a high-performing veterinary team.

This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with medical and operational leadership to build strong teams, deliver exceptional client service, and ensure high-quality patient care.

As the Practice Manager, you will partner closely with the Medical Director, Regional Manager, and other hospital leadership to oversee hospital performance, manage daily operations, and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital
  • Maintain ownership of financial performance, including P&L, labor management, and cost control
  • Manage inventory and supply ordering to maintain appropriate cost of goods
  • Oversee scheduling and payroll processes to support both patient care and operational efficiency
  • Lead and develop hospital team members, including coaching and performance management
  • Improve workflows, processes, and client service experience
  • Support implementation of company initiatives, systems, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and engagement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Management, or related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of leadership or management experience (veterinary experience preferred but not required)
  • Experience managing financial performance, including budgeting, labor, or cost control
  • Strong leadership, intrapersonal and interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
