Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents while supervising the day-to-day activities of nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of resident care are maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents. Assess resident needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans. Oversee and support Licensed Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility standards. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and family members as appropriate.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and team members. Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident care needs.

Qualifications Required: Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care. Preferred: Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care settings.

Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience.
