Are you a Retired Military Veteran able to visit 2x a month?
Constellation Health Services' Hospice Program is seeking military veterans. Our Veteran Volunteers present a blanket and certificate to the veterans they visit. Veterans have a unique ability to connect with fellow veterans through shared experience, understanding, and respect.
Your presence can offer comfort, companionship, and dignity to patients and families during an important time in their lives.
Requirements:
  • Age: At least 18 years old.
  • Time: Visit 2x a month. Ability to commit for one year to our program.
  • Completed application.
  • Orientation: Approximately 20 hours of online training. Focusing on safety, confidentiality, personal death awareness and hospice philosophy.
  • Complete health and background checks.
  • Driver's License and auto insurance

Your experience, compassion, and service can bring comfort to veterans and families in our care.
As this is a volunteer position, there is no compensation other than our gratitude.
