Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers throughout battery cell and/or pack development programs
  • Lead customer engagement, including technical discussions, program reviews, issue resolution, and escalation management
  • Lead and facilitate technical meetings and workshops; ensure clear documentation, action tracking, and alignment with internal teams and customers
  • Lead cross functional teams throughout RFI/RFQs process and technical proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams
  • Lead the development of battery cell and pack programs from concept through production, coordinating closely with customers and internal cross functional teams
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Identify program risks across technical, schedule, cost, and quality and drive mitigation plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial across regions to meet program timing, deliverables and cost
  • Regularly communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to engineering and executive leadership
  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to overcome technical and program obstacles while maintaining schedule adherence
  • Prioritize and track cross-functional action items, balancing resources, risks, and program outcomes
  • Support on-site customer meetings, technical workshops, and plant visits in the US and China
  • Support DFMEA, PFMEA, DV/PV, APQP, and PPAP activities as required by customer programs
  • Up to 30% domestic and international travel

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related discipline)
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or energy storage product development
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or equivalent customer-facing leadership roles
  • Good understanding of Li-ion battery cell and/or battery pack systems, including development and validation processes
  • Proven experience working directly with US or global automotive OEM customers
  • Solid knowledge of automotive product development and launch processes, including DV/PV, APQP, and PPAP
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and senior leadership
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

$160,000-$250,000 USD
