Are you ready to start the next chapter of your life with an actual career instead of just a job? Healing Hands Animal Hospital has an incredible opportunity for a Veterinary Technician’s Assistant. This friendly and energetic clinic is working to keep our furry companions healthy.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience as a RVT or Vet Tech Assistant, kennel attendant or background in animal care is ideal

  • Willingness to work Saturdays. 8am-12pm alternating

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for prolonged periods of time

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty while learning about animal care and medicine

  • Love of animals with no hesitance around unpredictable dogs, cats, small animals and exotics

  • Must be willing and able to jump in wherever needed covering a wide range of duties including (but not limited to) assisting the doctors with patients, answering phones, cleaning kennels, exercising pets and administering medications.
