About the Role:
Goodwin Marine Services is looking for a talented and dependable Vessel Cook to join our crew in Hull, MA. This is a unique opportunity to bring your culinary skills aboard and play a vital role in keeping our crew well-fed, energized, and morale high out on the water.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and serve daily meals for vessel crew members
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized galley in compliance with maritime food safety standards
  • Monitor and manage food inventory, provisions, and supply requests
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and crew preferences
  • Coordinate meal timing around vessel operations and crew schedules
  • Assist with provisioning and restocking during port calls
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of perishable and non-perishable food items
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a cook, ship's cook, or galley cook preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a compact galley environment in varying sea conditions
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to serve meals on a consistent schedule
  • Valid TWIC card or the ability to obtain one is preferred
  • Comfortable with extended time at sea and rotating schedules
