Client Engagement + Sales Specialist

Vertica Fitness is coming to Lubbock and we are looking for a self motivated, reliable and detail-oriented person to effectively communicate our mission and values to clients, leads, and the wider community. Also, provide timely responses to client inquiries across multiple platforms, including email, social media (Mighty Network, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram), and other available channels. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in handling client inquiries with the flexibility to work remotely while occasionally assisting in-studio.

Key Responsibilities: Client Outreach & Sales

  • Effectively communicate our mission and values to clients, leads, and the wider community.
  • Explain the Vertica Manifesto and V101 trial class to prospective clients.
  • Proactively contact leads to schedule free introductory classes.
  • Convert leads into members through persuasive sales conversations, particularly during grand opening pre-sales and trial class follow-up calls.
  • Follow up with prospects who did not attend their scheduled intro class and assist in rebooking.
  • Conduct targeted outreach throughout a client’s journey to ensure engagement and retention.

Client Communication & Support

  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries across multiple platforms, including email, social media (Mighty Network, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram), and other available channels.
  • Make reminder calls for scheduled V101 trial sessions on the day of class.
  • Send reminder texts for V101 classes the day before and the day of.
  • Send personalized and mass email or text invitations to V101 sessions, including booking links.
  • Contact clients with outstanding account balances on a regular basis.
  • Assist clients with questions about the studio, apps, processes, and policies.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Help administer seasonal marketing campaigns and send mass emails/texts inviting clients to events and workshops.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating studio events, promotions, and community-building initiatives.
  • Ensure a VIP-level customer experience for our pole-loving community.

Administrative & Support Duties

  • Occasionally assist in-studio as needed (majority of work can be completed remotely).
  • Provide additional support to the General Manager as requested, based on skills and availability.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to convert leads into members.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Experience in handling client inquiries through multiple platforms, including social media and email.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage follow-ups and outreach efficiently.
  • Passionate about community-building and fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
