Medical Director, Primary Care Opportunity - Brattleboro, VermontSeeking an energetic clinician to serve as Medical Director within the Primary Care Team in Brattleboro, VT — part of a 50-provider, hospital-employed, multi-specialty outpatient practice in the heart of southern Vermont.Position Details

  • Direct patient care across four Primary Care sites combined with medical oversight and clinical leadership
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, best practices, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor clinicians and lead performance evaluations, FPPE/OPPE processes, and CME activities
  • Collaborate with administrative leadership to enhance clinic workflows, scheduling, and EHR utilization
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinicians
  • Foster interdisciplinary teamwork among Primary Care clinicians, clinical staff, and administrative personnel
  • Oversee quality, patient safety initiatives, patient complaint review, and risk management collaboration
  • Contribute to budget development, growth strategy, and value-based care initiatives
  • Promote infection control, public health standards, and population health advancement

  • Qualifications
  • MD, DO, PA, or APRN degree from an accredited school
  • Board certified or board eligible by the appropriate governing body
