Job description

Role Summary:
The Managing Director, Strategy & Business Development, is a senior leader responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy across Verity Solutions and CarepathRx. This role will lead a centralized Growth function, aligning business development, partnerships, product strategy, and go-to-market execution to drive sustainable growth and innovation across the portfolio.
This leader will identify, evaluate, and execute strategic opportunities, including partnerships, and new market expansion, while translating enterprise priorities into actionable, medium- and long-term strategies that enhance competitiveness and deliver value to clients, partners, and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Growth Leadership
  • Define and drive the integrated Go To Market & growth strategy across Verity Solutions and CarepathRx, and enterprise priorities.
  • Translate executive objectives into actionable strategic plans with a 3-5 year horizon, including market positioning, service expansion, and innovation opportunities.
  • Partner closely with the President and senior leadership team to shape long-term direction, prioritize investments, and enable scalable growth.

Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships to further our products and commercial opportunities
  • Participate in diligence, financial and operational assessments, and executive-level recommendations.

Portfolio Expansion
  • Develop strategies and business plans for new and adjacent markets, including specialty pharmacy, infusion services, 340B solutions, and technology-enabled offerings.
  • Assess emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Drive alignment across offerings (e.g., Verity, PipelineRx, Dromos, Fusebox) to unlock synergies and expand solution capabilities.

Partnership & Alliance Development
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships across healthcare providers, manufacturers, health systems, and technology partners.
  • Expand and strengthen business alliances that enhance the organization's market position and client value proposition.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to operationalize partnerships and ensure successful execution.

Centralized Growth Function Leadership
  • Lead and develop a centralized Growth organization, aligning business development, product, sales, and partnership capabilities to improve pipeline development and go-to-market execution
  • Provide direction and oversight to senior leaders across multiple disciplines, ensuring strong alignment, accountability, and performance outcomes.
  • Establish operating rhythms, governance, and performance metrics to track growth initiatives and outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration
  • Partner with Pharmacy Services, Client Success, Product, and Operations leaders to align growth strategies with operational capabilities and client needs.
  • Work closely with Strategic Planning and enterprise partners to advance high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, growth/business development, or related leadership roles in healthcare, pharmacy services, or adjacent industries.
  • Proven track record of leading complex strategic initiatives, including partnerships and market expansion.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to assess financial, operational, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Experience operating in highly matrixed, cross-functional environments with executive-level stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and build scalable organizational capabilities.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 222,700 - 371,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
