Creating Outstanding Patient Experience:

  • Interpreting the results of eye examinations, using prescriptions written by Optometrists and/or Ophthalmologists
  • Advising patients on frame weights, materials, styles and colors
  • Recommending lenses, coatings and frames to suit customersโ€™ needs
  • Measuring customers to determine suitable types and styles of frames
  • Adjusting frames so they fit properly
  • Preparing orders for glasses and contact lenses by checking prescriptions, lens thickness and other specifications
  • Making sure that orders for glasses and contact lenses have been processed accurately
  • Committed to providing quality health and eye care for all patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handles customer concerns with highest level of integrity and professionalism
  • Always represents themselves to the highest level of professionalism in both speech and presentation
  • Ability to listen closely to patients wants, needs and concerns. Able to explain options, instructions and solutions clearly for patients.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of optical tools to make final adjustments and repairs to eyeglasses
  • Interpreting and explaining patientโ€™s vision insurance benefits
  • Maintaining inventory of frames and other optical supplies

Creating Outstanding Practice Experience:

  • Perform business tasks, such as maintaining sales records compliantly to HIPAA requirements
  • Working with the Doctors and practice staff to ensure the best patient experience through effective communication
  • Sharing their knowledge and skills with colleagues, improving the performance of the practice team overall and ensuring high quality care
  • Exhibiting highest level of professionalism and teamwork with practice staff
  • Responsible for the business aspect of the optical, comfortable making decisions and has a strong knowledge of sales and inventory management.
