Legal Assistant / Specialist – Venture Capital (Boston, In-Office)

Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Law firm seeking a seasoned Venture Capital Legal Assistant to join its Boston office. This is a standout opportunity to work alongside top-tier attorneys on cutting-edge venture deals, supporting high-growth startups, investors, and emerging companies.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy being at the center of deal activity, and take pride in precision and ownership, this role offers the platform to elevate your career.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be a key player in venture financings and closings—manage signature pages, coordinate DocuSign, and prepare polished closing binders
  • Oversee client intake, engagement letters, and data room setup (including Carta)
  • Keep deals moving by managing calendars, deadlines, and transaction workflows

Why This Role:

  • Work on high-impact venture deals with a top-tier legal team
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performing practice
  • Gain exposure to innovative companies and emerging industries
  • Competitive compensation ($80K–$110K) + bonus potential
  • Comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and strong firm support
