Job description

About KIP

KIP (Korea Investment Partners) is the largest venture capital platform from Korea, with over $4B in assets under management. Backed by a holdings group managing over $400B in assets, KIP invests both directly and as an LP across stages โ€” from early to late โ€” spanning a diverse range of sectors and geographies. The fund is at an exciting inflection point, actively growing both in fund size and team, as it deepens its presence in the global venture ecosystem.

About the Role

KIPUS is seeking a driven and versatile Operations Specialist who thrives at the intersection of finance, events, and people. You will serve as a central pillar of our U.S. operations โ€” owning fund administration and capital call processes while also planning and executing high-touch events for our LP and founder community. Reporting directly to the CEO, youโ€™ll work across a wide range of workstreams with real autonomy and ownership.

Beyond operational rigor, weโ€™re looking for someone who genuinely lights up around people โ€” a natural connector who brings warmth and positive energy to every interaction, whether coordinating with external partners or hosting a founder dinner. Equally at home in a spreadsheet and in a room full of investors, you take pride in both the details and the experience you create for others.

Responsibilities

1) Fund Administration

  • Take ownership of day-to-day fund operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational integrity across the full fund lifecycle
  • Serve as the central coordination point among fund administrators, accounting firms, banks, auditors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee fund documentation, regulatory compliance, and investor onboarding processes in alignment with internal policies and industry standards
  • Support the preparation and review of periodic financial and management reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional reporting and operational initiatives to meet HQ and firm-wide requirements

2) Event Coordination

  • Plan and execute LP-focused events, including investor meetings, founder dinners, demo days, and networking sessions
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, guest coordination, and on-site support
  • Lead company marketing initiatives, including management of social media platforms, to strengthen and expand KIP's brand presence
  • Coordinate founder and LP participation to ensure seamless communication and smooth event execution
  • Support visiting LPs and executives with travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and on-site assistance

3) General Support

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the CEO and the broader investment team
  • Assist with additional projects across fund operations and firm-wide initiatives

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in operations, fund accounting, fund administration, event planning or a related operations role
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from investors and founders to legal and finance partners
  • Exercises discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in event planning or coordination
  • Background in venture capital, private equity, banking, corporate or a high-growth startup environment

Why Join Us

  • Be part of one of the largest and most established venture capital platforms in the APAC region, and play a hands-on role in building and scaling its U.S. operations
  • Work at the heart of the global venture ecosystem, collaborating with founders, investors, and cross-border teams across regions
  • Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and high-trust team where your ownership and contributions genuinely matter โ€” and where there is real room to grow

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary commensurate with experience, medical health insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and opportunities for professional development and long-term career growth.
