Job description

Job Summary:Cleans and services assigned area according to performance and safety standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe, and attractive environment.
Available Shifts:
  • Swing Shift: 3:00PM- 11:30PM
  • Grave Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Keep all public and designated back of the house areas free of debris (i.e. glasses, bottles, cans, paper, etc.).
  • Clean and sanitize BOH and public areas in casino as directed.
  • Remove and dispose of trash from all trash receptacles and replace liners in public & BOH areas.
  • Keep all public & BOH restrooms clean and stocked.
  • Clean all floor and wall tile areas in casino as directed.
  • Polish all metal surfaces.
  • Vacuuming of all carpeted areas public and BOH.
  • Dusting, polishing, and general cleaning of all public and back of the house areas in the casino.
  • Sweep and mop stairwells.
  • Clean all slot machines to include all glass, wood and veneer surfaces.
  • Clean elevators, elevator tracks, and elevator foyers.
  • Let supervisor know of any shortages that need ordering (Chemicals, equipment, etc.).
  • Refill chemical stations and bottles.
  • Clean all glass and mirrored surfaces and windows.
  • Complete any extra duties as per management or supervisor.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
  • Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be familiar with Hazardous Material/MSDS procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to communicate and maintain a high level of courtesy with casino patrons.
  • Desire and willingness to learn.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with Team members and guests.
  • Ability to be a TEAM player.
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
  • Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
  • Must occasionally lift to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
