About the Role:
Empire Marble & Granite Co is looking for a skilled Shop team member to join our growing operation in Richmond, VA! This is a hands-on role where you'll work with premium stone materials, helping craft and deliver beautiful surfaces that customers love. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoy working in a dynamic shop environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Cut, shape, and fabricate marble, granite, and natural stone products to specification
  • Operate shop equipment including saws, grinders, and polishing machines
  • Read and interpret templates, measurements, and job orders accurately
  • Inspect finished stone products for quality control and craftsmanship standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and handling of stone slabs
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in stone fabrication, countertop production, or a related shop environment preferred
  • Familiarity with stone cutting tools, wet saws, and polishing equipment
