Facilities Vendor Relations Specialist

Location: Hanover, VA, 23069

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Vendor Relations Specialist to join our team in Hanover, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with our facilities vendors to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate vendor contracts, renewals, and negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with internal facilities management teams to assess vendor needs and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, communications, and service reports.
  • Assist in the procurement process for facilities-related goods and services.
  • Ensure timely resolution of vendor-related disputes or concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize vendor management processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Vendor Relations Specialist or in a similar vendor management role.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management and vendor coordination best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and vendor management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
