Job Description
A mid-sized manufacturing firm in South Seattle, WA is seeking to hire three Vendor Management Specialists for a 6-month temp-to-hire opportunity. This role offers two shifts: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position involves managing an inbox daily and supporting between 25 to 50 vendors.
Responsibilities
- Review the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates align with required delivery dates.
- Verify customer purchase orders against internal work orders to ensure compliance with process requirements.
- Provide continuous updates to customers on the status of their orders within a four-hour time frame.
- Communicate with customers regarding any additional blueprints, drawings, or other items needed for processing.
- Coordinate with production to obtain Estimated Completion Dates (ECDs) for orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment or other necessary areas.
- Develop daily reports on orders and communicate with production teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
