Job description

IT Project Managerโ€“ Pharma (Hybrid โ€“ Lawrenceville, NJ)ย 

We are seeking an IT Project Manager for a global pharmaceutical client. The focus of the role is to lead delivery of a large-scale, multi-region Foundational Data Transformation program migrating fragmented commercial pharma data warehouses onto a governed Databricks platform. The programย consolidatesย enterprise data sources (sales, market access, patient services, omni-channel, and master data) into standardized, AI-ready data products across the US, EU, and other global markets, and rebuilds existing analytics pipelines to new data modeling standards.ย 

This is a 40-hour per week, 12-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite role at the clientโ€™s office in Lawrenceville, NJ. Work Schedule: Mon-Fri โ€“ Standard Hoursย ย 

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.ย 

Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Own the integrated program plan across workstreams and trackย deliveryย health, milestones, and velocity.ย 

  • Drive 2-week sprint cadence: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review/demo, and retrospectives; ensure user stories are logged, estimated, and tracked to โ€œdefinition of doneโ€ in JIRAย 

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital and IT initiatives that align with business and Digital Capabilityย objectives.ย 

  • Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for small- to medium-sized technology projects.ย 

  • Develop andย maintainย project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.ย 

  • Monitor project performance, financial health, dependencies, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.ย 

  • Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting to sponsors and stakeholders.ย 

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project execution.ย 

  • Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, budgets, and contractual commitments.ย 

  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, and Project Management Framework (PMF) best practices to drive consistent project delivery.ย 

  • Promote continuous improvement and project management maturity across the organization.ย 

Requirements:ย ย 

  • 8+ years of experience managing IT or digitalย projectsย preferably pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or lifeย sciencesย isย required.ย 

  • Hands-on experience running Agile/Scrum delivery at scale: sprint planning, backlog management, PI planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.ย 

  • Experience managing dataย platformย or data warehouse migration programs (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent cloud data platforms).ย 

  • Proficiencyย with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management, RAID tracking, and documentation.ย 

  • Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.ย 

  • Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams.ย 

  • Experience coordinating globally distributed teams across multiple time zonesย 

  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certificationย is preferred.ย 

  • Demonstrated experience managing programs in the pharmaceutical / life sciences industry, specifically within Commercial data & analytics (sales, market access, patient services, or omni-channel data domainsย is preferred.ย 

  • Experience withย GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and SDLC processes is preferred.ย 

  • Familiarity with enterprise technologies, cloud platforms, data and analytics, or digital transformation initiativesย is preferred.ย 

  • Experience managing offshore/onshore blended delivery teamsย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related fieldย isย required.ย
