Czech Localization QA Tester / Proofreader

Welocalize is seeking a Czech Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy combining linguistic expertise with technology and quality assurance.

In this role, you will evaluate localized content across web, mobile, and software applications, ensuring that translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and meet the highest quality standards. You will execute test cases, identify and document localization issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and verify bug fixes throughout the testing lifecycle.

This is a long-term, on-site opportunity with no predetermined end date, ideal for candidates looking to build a career in localization, language quality, and software testing.

Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Czech, including excellent grammar, vocabulary, spelling, composition, and punctuation skills
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in translation, localization, proofreading, copy editing, or related language-focused work
  • Strong technical aptitude and confidence working with web-based applications and software platforms
  • Experience testing applications on macOS and iOS devices
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and evaluate linguistic and localization issues
