As part of our growing U.S. renewable energy portfolio, you will play a critical role in digital transformation journey of Total Energies’ renewable asset performance management. Our teams oversee the technical, financial, and administrative operations for all renewable assets in the US. As part of Operations’ Excellence practices, we support the deployment of digital tools, scalable data platform and AI agents that improve the team’s efficiency and align standards across the globe. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for data and a desire to learn and grow within the company.

You will be responsible for performance analysis on utility scale renewables projects in operation (solar, BESS and onshore wind) and automating manual performance management processes using digital tools and Agentic AI. You will support both Operations and Maintenance, and asset management team by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to improve operational efficiency and asset performance. Your work will directly impact operational excellence and scalability across our U.S. portfolio while we expand renewable operating portfolio—reflecting TotalEnergies’ commitment to high technical standards and robust operational practices within its U.S. renewable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand KPIs, performance metrics and production loss categories for renewable assets (Solar, Wind, BESS). Collaborate with team members to understand data needs for reporting and providing actionable insights.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns. Conduct regular data quality checks and ensure data integrity. Automate manual data cleaning process.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data dashboards and reports.
  • Automate asset management reports generation using scalable data platform, such as Databricks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for streamlining our data analysis and reporting automation (i.e. Scripts to automate manual calculations, improve data manipulation and automate report templates/dashboards)
  • Identify and develop deep understanding of manual processes that can be automated using AI agents. Define AI-powered features or improvements. Write problem statements, user flows, and success criteria.
  • Build AI agents to automate the identified workflows. Test and publish AI agents.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
  • The position consists of working indoors with occasional travel to other offices and job site.

  • Strong communication skills for working with engineering, operations, Asset Manager, and IT teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with basic program languages: C/C++, SQL, Python
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with dashboard and reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Grafana.
  • Familiar with Databricks, AWS and Azure services.
