Job description

AVS Companies, a national distributor of vending and amusement equipment, seeks an experienced vending service technician in its Houston, Texas facility.

Primary duties will include: preparing machines for sale, machine fault diagnosis and repair, machine delivery and pickup.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a vending machine repair technician
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License

Candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Basic electrical and mechanical skills
  • Sound understanding of fault diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Take direction from management, then act independently once directed
  • Be detail oriented
  • Be a team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Refrigeration knowledge preferred, but not required
  • Ability to read schematics preferred, but not required

Candidates must provide their own work tools.
