Position Summary
This position will achieve parts and service profit goals by promoting and selling service programs, preventive maintenance contracts, parts, and additional repair programs within an assigned territory or region.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Increase revenue and profit for parts and services for a specified type of customer
  • Maintain and update activities in customer relationship management (CRM) software accurately and efficiently
  • Generate new leads and accounts through a variety of sales-related activities (customer calls, mailing, promotional campaigns)
  • Maintain accurate customer data, machine population information, and qualified accounts within appropriate software to ensure promotions are targeted to specific customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with established and new customers to determine individual customer needs and provide solutions to meet them
  • Promote all aspects of the dealership including parts, service, labor, customer value agreements and machine and engine sales leads
  • Create custom incremental parts and service quotes for customers

Occasional Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monitoring work-in-progress to ensure high quality customer service and exceed customer expectations
  • Compile market research and formulate a "Go-to-Market Strategy"

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • No formal responsibility for supervising others

Position Requirements
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years or more of experience in Sales

Preferred:
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in business related field
  • 4 years or more of experience in sales
