Position summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness of the office and perform minor repairs.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Cleaning & Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors; disinfect high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and kitchen appliances.
Restroom Upkeep: Clean, sanitize, and polish restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors; replenish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Waste Removal: Empty all trash, recycling, and shredding bins, replacing liners as necessary.
General Maintenance: Perform minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, or adjusting furniture. Restock vending machine.
Common Areas: Clean lunchrooms, break areas, and kitchenettes, including tables, chairs, and refrigerators.
Outdoor Maintenance: Shovel and salt steps and walkways in winter, cut grass, stack pallets, and other outdoor maintenance as necessary.
Warehouse: Assist warehouse staff when necessary.
