Job description

VeloSouce has a Maternal Fetal Medicine Opportunity - New York, New York

  • 8 HR clinic days with option of beeper call during week and weekend
  • Providers must be drive in candidates and parking, mileage, tolls will be covered.
  • In-person and call coverage will be on a rotating basis amongst assigned facilities.
  • Clinical coverage as needed, remote and in-person, for other hospitals in the region.
  • Remote coverage as needed
  • Emergency coverage as needed
  • Home on-call duties for MFM consults on nights/weekends for shared service facilities.
  • Schedules will be set by the Shared Services Team and hospital OB/GYN leadership
  • Full inpatient antepartum and outpatient high risk ob clinic, including ultrasound interpretation (2nd trimester and later, no gyn)
  • Working with residents, APPs and attendings
  • Rounding on inpatient admissions - daily note, management plan, review of events during hospitalization, consulting other services as needed
  • Outpatient clinic - approximately 20 patients per session 3 sessions per week with 2 other providers sharing the patient panel (approximately 6 patients each provider), directly managing patients, providing management plans for generalist attendings.
  • eConsults as requested for queries and management issues
  • High level of diabetes, hypertension, FGR, AMA, obesity.
  • Possible weekend and/or night phone coverage as needed
  • Procedures: ultrasound performance as needed, amniocentesis, cervical cerclage
  • No labor and delivery coverage
