LEVEL 3 VEHICLE OPERATOR
Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: $29.00 Per Hour + Shift Bonuses
Schedule: Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available

We are hiring Level 3 Vehicle Operators to support autonomous vehicle testing, safety operations, and vehicle readiness in real-world driving environments. This position is ideal for safety-focused drivers with strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to remain attentive for extended driving periods.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
โ€ข Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles in public road environments
โ€ข Drive 4-8 hours daily with a strong focus on safety and awareness
โ€ข Perform vehicle readiness inspections and preventative maintenance checks
โ€ข Conduct basic software and hardware operation tasks
โ€ข Support vehicle testing, logistics, and operational missions
โ€ข Provide detailed written and verbal feedback to engineering teams
โ€ข Assist with documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
โ€ข Help maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
โ€ข Support movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข Excellent driving history and safe driving habits
โ€ข Ability to drive for long periods while remaining attentive and professional
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills
โ€ข Basic technical troubleshooting and software operation skills
โ€ข Ability to follow procedures and work in fast-paced operational environments
โ€ข Clean background and driving record required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข Experience in delivery driving, rideshare, transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
โ€ข Military, technical, or operations experience
โ€ข BS/BA Degree or equivalent technical experience
โ€ข Interest in autonomous vehicle technology and advanced transportation systems
PAY & SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS
Base Pay: $29.00 Per Hour
Additional Shift Bonuses Available:
โ€ข Weekend Shifts: +5% Per Hour
โ€ข Night Shifts Starting After 1 PM: +2% Per Hour
โ€ข Weekend Night Shifts: Up to +7% Total Bonus Pay
