Job status: Temporary - Full time
Join a fast-paced vehicle testing team supporting innovative automotive operations across major U.S. markets including Miami, Chicago and San Francisco. The Contract Driver - Vehicle Testing Operations role is responsible for safely operating vehicles in support of testing, validation, and operational activities across a variety of routes, schedules, and environments.
This position is ideal for dependable, safety focused drivers who are comfortable working flexible schedules and adapting to dynamic operational needs. Drivers will support testing operations by following assigned procedures, documenting issues when needed, and maintaining professionalism throughout all activities.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate vehicles for testing, validation, and operational activities.
  • Follow assigned driving routes, testing procedures, and schedules.
  • Support day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as required.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Report vehicle issues, incidents, or irregularities promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Complete required documentation, logs, and operational reports.
  • Support vehicle movement between locations when required.
  • Participate in safety training and compliance programs.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all testing operations.
  • Travel to off-site testing locations when applicable.

Required Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (MVR required).
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
  • Previous professional driving experience preferred.
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Candidates must be located in Miami, FL, San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL
  • English language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting automotive, logistics, or testing operations.
  • DOT compliance knowledge (where applicable).
  • Experience driving different vehicle types or EVs.
