SUMMARY

Pohanka Kia of Salisbury is looking for a Maryland State Vehicle Inspector to join our team. We provide an excellent working environment and a temperature-controlled shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect automotive vehicles to ensure compliance to emission standards and governmental regulations.
  • Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
  • Inspects and assesses the condition of all of the vehicle's essential mechanical systems and components.
  • Communicate directly with the Service and Sales Department 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MSI Certified or willing to complete within 30 days
  • Experience in mechanical repair, maintenance or inspection of motor vehicles 
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Computer literate
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
