Avis Budget Group is looking for a AV Strategy & Operations Manager that will support the build and deployment of autonomous vehicle operations by driving day-to-day execution of a high-priority, cross-functional initiative. Acting as a central connector across teams, the position translates strategic goals into actionable plans, proactively solves problems, and ensures alignment to meet key milestones. The role operates in a fast-paced, evolving environment, leveraging data and strong stakeholder collaboration to support new market launches and ongoing performance.

Overview

  • Support the build and deployment of autonomous vehicle (AV) operations.
  • Act as a central driver of day-to-day execution for a high-priority, cross-functional initiative.
  • Operate in a fast-evolving environment where the path is continuously developing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the connective tissue across cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Safety, Infrastructure, Operations, HR, external partners).
  • Coordinate and align internal and external teams to ensure milestones are met.
  • Identify gaps, anticipate risks, and proactively solve problems before they escalate.
  • Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable plans and track progress against them.
  • Support development of operating models, processes, and playbooks for a new business line.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Prepare materials and updates for senior leadership and external partners.
  • Travel as needed to support market launches and ongoing operations.
