Janitorial Operations Manager

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $65,000 โ€“ $68,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

Image Companies is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial cleaning accounts throughout the West Palm Beach area. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining client satisfaction, managing account performance, and leading a growing team of supervisors and janitorial staff.

We are looking for a results-driven professional who is organized, technology-savvy, and passionate about delivering outstanding service. Travel is required consistently; however, we provide a company vehicle and cover fuel expenses.

Local candidates in the West Palm Beach area are strongly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily janitorial operations for multiple client accounts.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage supervisors and janitorial staff.
  • Ensure all employees are properly trained and performing according to contract specifications.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor account performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage staffing schedules to meet operational and contractual requirements.
  • Manage employee performance, coaching, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
  • Monitor labor costs, inventory, and operational budgets.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities.
  • Travel regularly to client locations under management.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding operational performance and business needs.
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and process improvement.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments as needed.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
