Overview

As a VDC Specialist/Electrical, you will be responsible for ownership in three primary categories:

  • BIM project set up to include developing procedures and ensuring deliverables
  • Quality control to include quality assurance (QA/QC)
  • Direct client services

You will also have a supportive role in the following:

  • Modeling
  • Assisting PM in response to pricing and change orders as well as scheduling
  • Project management assigned tasks
  • Remote team management
  • Customer relationship
  • Developing tools for work optimization

Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC)

  • Review Daily Modeling Progress
  • Communicate with Foreman About Best Practices
  • Review Assigned Clashes
  • Create the QA/QC List
  • Review Installation Drawings
  • Read and Create Redlines/Contract Documents/Submittals
  • Educate Remote Team/Client
  • Create/Review Bill of Materials/Specification/Quantities Take Off
  • Site Visits

Direct Client Service

  • Daily Communication
  • Problem Resolution
  • Comply With Customer Requests
  • Meetings

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of BIM or VDC experience
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Procore.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, conduit routing, NEC codes, and field installation practices.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary coordination efforts in BIM.
  • Ability to analyze modeling challenges and provide constructible solutions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with contractors, project managers, and field teams.
  • Take full responsibility for BIM model accuracy, project success, and team collaboration.

Work Environment

  • 100% onsite at our San Francisco headquarters.
  • Collaborative environment with frequent team meetings and project briefings.
  • Potential for travel depending on project locations.

Compensation Range: $33.65-$43.27 an hour
