Full-Time | Onsite | Detroit, Michigan
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
This position provides essential administrative and operational support for office functions including front desk coverage, facility coordination, mail handling, supply management, and general clerical support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment while supporting both staff and facility needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Office & Administrative Support
  • Greet visitors, staff, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Answer and route phone calls and correspondence
  • Manage visitor logs and coordinate access procedures
  • Support scheduling and calendar coordination for meetings and conference rooms
  • Provide general clerical and administrative assistance as needed

Facility & Office Operations
  • Assist with office moves, furniture setup, and workspace organization
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
  • Conduct routine walkthroughs of office areas to identify issues
  • Support facility readiness for meetings and events
  • Help track office property and equipment as needed

Supply, Mail & Logistics Support
  • Receive, track, and distribute office supplies and materials
  • Maintain inventory and storage areas in an organized manner
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Support delivery coordination and shipment tracking

Security & General Support
  • Assist with visitor access, keys, and badge coordination
  • Support basic security and safety procedures
  • Report facility or operational concerns to supervisors
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Experience in a professional or government setting is a plus
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to learn new systems and office procedures quickly
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
