Pear VC is an early stage venture firm based in Menlo Park, with offices in San Francisco and Menlo Park. We're specialists in pre-seed and seed and partner with founders at the earliest stages to turn great ideas into category-defining companies. Our team is composed of a deep bench of experts and operators.

About the Role

In this role, you will serve as a key operational partner to Pear's General Partners and Investors, helping the team operate efficiently in a fast-moving environment. You will own complex calendar management, proactively coordinating schedules across founders/ portfolio companies / other investors before they arise. You'll support the day-to-day operations of the firm, including office logistics, event management and creating a seamless experience for guests and visitors. This is a full-time on-site role located in San Francisco and Menlo Park 4-5 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically manage multiple executive calendars, and inboxes
  • Work with stakeholders on prioritization and aligning work with those priorities
  • Interact with both internal and external stakeholders from portfolio companies, external executives, other VCs, and other high profile guests.
  • Utilize technology tools for efficiency, and administrative workload.
  • Assist with company events, and office management that occasionally goes outside of regular work hours
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable operational support role within a fast-paced professional environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a consistently high bar for accuracy and follow-through
  • Highly skilled in calendar management, and experienced in managing complex, high-volume schedules across multiple stakeholders and time zones
  • Proven ability to independently drive from concept to execution with minimal oversight
  • Strong operational and process-oriented mindset
  • Highly proficient with modern productivity and collaboration tools including Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion, Calendly, Canva, and similar platforms
  • Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Venture capital, startup, or high-growth company experience is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
