Digital Consultants seeks an Applications Developer to support the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground and West Desert Test Center (WDTC) Information Technology Support Services program. The Applications Developer will design, develop, test, maintain, and sustain mission-critical applications, web-based solutions, SharePoint capabilities, and legacy systems supporting WDTC operations. This position will work closely with Government stakeholders and end users to gather requirements, develop secure and reliable software solutions, provide application support and training, maintain technical documentation, and ensure compliance with approved software development and cybersecurity standards. The successful candidate will possess strong software development experience, a commitment to secure coding practices, and the ability to support a diverse portfolio of mission and business applications in both classified and unclassified environments.


Location: Dugway, UTย 


Duties to include:

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and web-based solutions.
  • Support SharePoint sites, custom applications, and legacy business systems.
  • Gather and analyze user requirements and recommend technical solutions.
  • Perform application troubleshooting, defect resolution, and user support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Participate in application testing, configuration management, and release activities.
  • Apply secure coding practices and support cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure applications meet mission needs.

Requirements

  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Must possess a Tier 3 (T3/T3R) or higher investigation. Personnel assigned duties involving the administration of classified systems/networks or designated critical-sensitive or special-sensitive positions must meet applicable Tier 5 (T5/T5R) investigation and SCI eligibility requirements
  • Certifications:ย 
    • Current IAT Level II qualification. Minimum one qualifying baseline certification such as GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, or CND.
    • Minimum one qualifying software development certification such as Microsoft Solutions Developer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (Developer Track), IEEE Professional Software Developer, IEEE Professional Software Engineering Master, Oracle Certified Java Professional (or higher), or equivalent certified developer credential.
  • Education: HS Diploma
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience; required skillset includes C#, MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET, HTML, Java, and XML.
  • Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to travel to other worksites as required and with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to sit, stand, use computers and monitors, and perform duties in an office environment for extended periods. The candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion (e.g., moving a case of paper or similar task) that may occur occasionally.ย
