Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care IR experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a 150-bed hospital
  • Day shift staffing includes 2 IR RNs and 2 IR Techs
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Uses Siemens single plane C-arm equipment
  • Meditech EMR
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 7A-5P
  • On-call required 5P-7A on weeknights and 24 hours on weekends, approximately 7-9 shifts per month
  • Performs procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, LVO, FNA, midline and PICC line placement, kyphoplasty, and PE thrombectomy
  • Involves vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care
Requirements
  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care IR RN experience required
  • Meditech experience preferred
  • Strong vascular access skills preferred
  • PICC line or midline placement experience preferred
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

  • Works closely with Imaging department staff

  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
