Job description

Contract to Hire - Sr. Compensation Analyst.

45-50/hr.

This is a Hybrid position. Will be remote mostly but in the office once a week.

Office location Galleria - Dallas
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Partners with Business Leaders, Finance and HR on the compensation strategy, design, communication and implementation processes.
Evaluates and analyzes job and compensation data to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
Develops, enhances and maintains compensation infrastructure to include job codes, job families, salary structure and pay guidelines.
Serves as subject matter expert providing guidance to HR Directors and business leaders on compensation matters.
Utilizes data and analytical insights to assess performance and cost effectiveness of compensation programs.
Administers variable pay and sales compensation plans on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Provide analysis of compensation programs to ensure compliance to state and federal legislation such as FLSA.
Participates in the annual merit and bonus planning processes.
Prepares compensation plan documents, policies and guidelines for base pay, variable pay, sales commission, and bonus programs.
Completes annual compensation surveys.
Creates or modifies job descriptions.
Participates in complex compensation related projects.
Requirements:
Experience in base wage and salary administration programs to include market pricing jobs with an understanding of salary bands, merit and performance management programs.
Experience in sales compensation to include design, communication, implementation and administration.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to generate and deliver presentations and create complex plan / policy documents.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and evaluate data.
Financial modeling and forecasting experience utilizing the advanced features of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, if/then statements, macros are a plus and regression analysis).
Experience utilizing variable pay, commission and HRIS systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in Compensation to include job analysis, job evaluation, salary reviews, merit, incentive administration, job descriptions and plan document creation.
