Emergency Medical Technician - Temple, TX

Frontline Support Solutions and Superior Mobile Health were recently awarded a Department of Veterans Affairs contract in Temple, TX. We are seeking dedicated EMTs to join our team in supporting this critical mission.

Type: Full-time only

Pay: $23.30 an hour

Schedule Options

  • Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00
  • 24/72 Rotation 06:00-06:00

Call Types

  • Emergent and non-emergent IFTs
  • Critical care transfers, discharges, SNF emergencies

Equipment

  • PowerPro XT cots, LP-15s, Sapphire IV Pumps, Ventec VOCSN Ventilator
  • Vapotherm for high flow nasal cannula
  • Video laryngoscopy, iGel

Fleet

  • Ford Transits & Dodge Promasters with performance-load
  • 2 Type III units with power-load

Responsibilities

  • Administer emergency medical care and first aid
  • Safely operate ambulances as directed
  • Coordinate with first responders and medical staff
  • Assess and prioritize patient treatment
  • Immobilize and transport patients safely
  • Operate life support and diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports (ePCR software)
  • Sanitize ambulance and equipment post-transport
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report equipment malfunctions
  • Adhere to medical protocols, health, and safety standards
  • Participate in continuous training and skill development

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Texas EMT certification
  • BLS certification

Physical Demands

  • Lift/carry up to 150 pounds (300 with assistance)
  • Bend, stoop, climb, and crawl across uneven terrain
  • Tolerate high-stress environments with flashing lights, loud noises, extreme temperatures, low light, or confined spaces
