Rock Region METRO, Arkansas’ largest public transit provider, is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead and shape the future of public transportation in Central Arkansas. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will oversee transit operations, service delivery, compliance, safety, labor relations, budgeting, and organizational leadership while helping drive innovation and continuous improvement across the agency. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a passion for public service, operational excellence, and community impact. Rock Region METRO provides nearly three million passenger trips annually through its fixed-route, streetcar, paratransit, microtransit, and vanpool services.
