Responsibilities
The Tree Care Foreman will work as supervisory capacity at job sites. They will be responsible for production, safety and client satisfaction. Demonstrates the ability to complete essential functions above average with little or no supervision. Demonstrates the ability to train employees to further their development and create opportunity. Must hold position for a complete year to qualify
Essential Functions
To successfully fulfill this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Operate standard truck and chipper.
  • Understand and perform first aid, CPR, aerials rescue procedures.
  • Train new employees.
  • Organize tree removal and pruning operations.
  • Communicate by reading relevant manuals and materials, speaking clearly and distinctively when giving instructions and listening to comments.
  • Promptly attend to customer needs and concerns.
  • Recognize the majority of trees and shrubs in local area.
  • Develop and motivate crew members to inspire productivity and pride.
  • Conduct safety meetings.
  • Delegate work and accept responsibility.
  • React responsibly in an emergency situation.
  • Will be provided through the course of work, confidential and proprietary information. In order to ensure the protection of this information, will be required to agree and sign a nondisclosure, noncompetition agreement.
  • Able to work five consecutive 8-hour days as scheduled. Available to work overtime at the request of management.

Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and select pertinent information through investigation, observation, and questioning.
  • Ability to organize and combine different pieces of information into meaningful order to identify problems.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations.
  • Bilingual strongly preferred.
  • Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees and manager.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
  • Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
  • Ability to exert enough force to lift own body weight up a rope into a tree.
  • Ability to stand and walk around the work site.
