Job description

The General Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing medium-sized teams of 10-30 members, primarily working on commercial projects. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position ensures that all site activities meet safety regulations, quality standards, and scheduling requirements while fostering effective communication and problem-solving within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate teams to ensure efficient time management of crews
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards
  • Manage project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines
  • Communicate effectively between crew members and management
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress and issues
  • Train team members on safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to monitor work quality and safety practices
  • Log pickup when necessary
