Job description

Vanguard Integrity Professionals has a unique position available for an experienced Software Account Manager. The successful incumbent will be joining our highly qualified team of sales professionals to engage with our existing customer base and identify new customers. Account Managers assess existing and potential customer needs and create new opportunities for product sales, training and professional support services. Account Managers successfully deliver solutions to the targeted client base with the goal of positioning Vanguard Integrity Professionals as a market leader known for knowledge, innovation, agility and service.

THIS IS A 100% IN OFFICE POSTION IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA.

DUTIES

This is an in-office position. During your role as an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Telephone or electronically communicate with current customers to sell software products, training and professional services.
  • Keep up-to-date customer records in CRM System.
  • Accurately maintain sales records through the use of the CRM and prepare sales reports, as required.
  • Remain knowledgeable of company’s product/services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Participate in customer/user training and other sales related seminars.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and strive to maximize product/services satisfaction.
  • Manage sales cycle with accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with current customers and services accounts.
  • Special projects, as required.
  • Prepare monthly forecast.
  • Work as part of a team and effectively participate in peer level coaching.
  • Acquire, maintain knowledge of and leverage all available internal resources for the benefit of Vanguard Integrity Professionals, our clients, and employees.
  • Participate in periodic account reviews in sales management meetings.
  • Maintain daily call metrics, as required.
  • Liaison with management team and colleagues to accurately prepare customer quotes.
  • Meet or exceed all call and associated sales quota requirements.
  • Perform other duties as identified and/or assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, marketing or related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of inside sales experience, business-to-business for a software or technology company.
  • Enterprise, “I” series and z/OS mainframe information security background desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Experience working within contemporary CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated experience working with current office computer (PC literacy), and contemporary software tools, i.e., Microsoft Office.
  • High energy and self-motivated with the ability to work in a privately-owned, very entrepreneurial, team environment.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be productive.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The base pay range for this position is $52,000 to $56,000, however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
