Some of your responsibilities include the following:


  • Create HVAC designs under the direction of the senior engineer and perform BIM drafting for a variety of projects to develop understanding of mechanical systems design.
  • Ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assignments.
  • Knowledge and experience with calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, piping layout and construction documents.
  • Attend field visits, meet with clients and vendors.
  • General coordination of specific design aspects into a project


Essential Skills & Requirements:


  • 2+ years of experience designing HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Revit / BIM is required.
  • Communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Background in either science and technology or academic sector is helpful
  • Professional commitment to sustainability, LEED accreditation is a plus.
  • FE given priority

The total compensation that we expect to pay for this position is dependent on years of experience, licensure, education, geographic location, and project portfolio but is expected to be in the $ 75,000 to $100,000. range.
