About the Role:
The Van Transportation Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations. You will maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensure patient safety, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a critical role that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations
Ensure the safety and comfort of all patients during transportation
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
Monitor weather conditions and adjust transportation routes accordingly
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and efficient transportation
Maintain accurate records of transportation routes, patient information, and any issues or concerns
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
Ability to lift, push, or pull patients as needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
High school diploma or equivalent required
