These full-time positions are open immediately and available to candidates with and without experience. Continental Van Lines is a family owned moving company entering its 71st year in Alaska. Physical Job Requirements
• Working as a professional packer/mover/helper can require frequent lifting and carrying of heavy boxes and/or furniture. Every day is different; however this is an active career and most days require a combination of the following.
• Climbing stairs or ramps while carrying heavy items is a daily occurrence.
• Kneeling or Crouching to wrap furniture is frequent.
• A strong back, shoulders, and knees will help you be successful while carrying, wrapping, or loading heavy items.
• Extending hands and arms in various directions while holding and turning heavy objects around corners is common while making deliveries.
