Job Description
*** Active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI Clearance Required ***
The Maintenance Plumber handles system installation, assembly, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, heating, and drainage systems. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing valves, faucets, water heaters, and defective parts; troubleshooting and inspecting high-pressure water, gas, sanitary, and storm drain systems to locate leaks and clear obstructions; removing and reinstalling insulation for pipe and ductwork inspections and repairs; and reading blueprints and work plans to ensure compliance with plumbing and safety codes.
• Install, maintain, and repair valves, faucets, toilets, showers, water heaters, and other plumbing systems to include piping and tanks.
• Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance of various HVAC Systems.
• Plan shutdowns for maintenance and repair of plumbing systems and components.
• Install piping, valves, pumps, fixtures and insulation.
• Troubleshoot, repair and make modifications to plumbing system.
• Adhere to all city, state, and federal regulatory statues.
• Maintain maintenance records as required by regulations provided by Customer.
• Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain plumbing systems and components.
• Experience following appropriate safe work practices (i.e. lock-out tag-out, etc.)
• Manage relationship with all major vendor accounts.
• Maintain a high quality of service at all times.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Properly maintain and safeguard assets.
• Able to work well on a team; notably building Operations teams to assist/review planned maintenance, complete maintenance and work alongside other trades on various tasks
• Working conditions include various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to outdoors, indoor offices, mechanical rooms, and high precarious places.
• Working conditions include possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles, high temperatures, high humidity, and high noise levels.

Active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI Clearance Required
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid REAL ID Driver's License.
• Possesses or has the ability to acquire skills in Journeyman level experience.
• Ability to lift and/or carry moderate weight (15-50 pounds), sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, repetitive hand motions.
• Available to be on call for emergencies, after hours work, and snow removal.
• Must be able to perform standard maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation tasks. Tasks will include physical labor; examples include working on ladders, ability to carry at minimum 50lbs, retrieving stock items from warehouse via inventory database, use of PPE equipment for procedures.
• Must have knowledge and experience of plumbing system including aspects of planning, training, scheduling, safe work practices and incident free operations.
• Ability to obtain forklift/manlift operator's License
• Possesses or has the ability to acquire computer proficiency skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to work prolonged and irregular work hours.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
• Journeyman's License for a Plumber or a residential plumbing tradesman license with at least 2 years of experience after obtaining the residential plumbing tradesman license.
• Forklift/Manlift Operator's License.
• Experienced insulator.
• Experience with sewer and lift stations.
• Work effectively with multi-cultural personnel to execute work assignments.
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills as well as organizational accountability processes.
• Good multi-tasking skills.
