Field Specialist- Valves Sales
Department: Sales

Location: Chicago, IL (Remote)
Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 / year
Description
ASC is looking for an established Sales individual to fill our Outside Sales opening for a Field Specialist - Valves based in Chicago covering KS, MO, IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, Northeast IN (Chicago Metro Area) for the Mechanical/Industrial markets (excludes Oil & Gas). The Valve Specialist is provided the opportunity to learn or expand upon his/her knowledge of the valve industry and sales knowledge/strategies. Primary Sales are directed toward established Contractors, Engineers and Distributors within the industry and sales knowledge/strategies, all while earning a competitive base salary plus commissions.
How You Will Help
  • Excel at demand generation through professionally demonstrating expertise and solutions selling to achieve a sales target
  • Build lasting relationships across a broad range of ASC-ES, contractor, distributor and industry constituents
  • Select, demonstrate and promote the best ASC-ES product solutions for specific end user applications to various customers
  • Work with distribution facing sales team in ASC-ES to assure sales closure, incremental product placement and achieve sales targets
  • Develop new contractor and project prospects for the ASC-ES Pipeline
  • Establish expertise and train key decision makers and users to ensure company-wide buy in for ASC-ES products
  • Act as the front-line champion for the success of ASC-ES new product rollouts in your given expertise area
  • Integrate into local trade organizations and associations to leverage contractor relationships for demand generation
  • Be the product team's eyes/ears about what is happening in the field from distributors, contractors and competition in your category of expertise
  • Embrace, utilize and demonstrate fluency in sales technology such as CRM, Tableau and Dodge reporting
  • Learn about the use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and their relevance in selling at ASC-ES
  • 80% Contractor / 10% Distribution / 5% Engineer / 5% Administrative

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD annually*.
