Position Title: Multifamily Estimator
Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay Rate: $135,000.00 (Annual Salary)
Position Description:
Join a reputable construction company as a Multifamily Estimator in Birmingham, Alabama, and play a vital role in shaping the future of residential development. This full-time, on-site opportunity offers the chance to lead estimating efforts for multifamily, mixed-use, and senior living projects. As a key member of the preconstruction team, you will develop accurate project budgets, conduct conceptual and hard-bid estimates, and collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure profitable project delivery. Your expertise will directly contribute to the company's growth and success in the Southeast region.
Top Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience, specifically in multifamily or residential projects
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience with conceptual estimating, value engineering, and mentoring junior estimators

Preferred Skills and Experience:
