The firm works with financial professionals and investors seeking access to alternative strategies beyond traditional equity and fixed-income markets.

Valiant Funds is seeking an accomplished wholesaler to support the continued growth of our investment platform as Vice President of Sales. Experience in oil and gas and other tax-advantaged products is preferred. This role requires territory-based wholesaling, while partnering with and educating Financial Professionals and RIAs who serve accredited investors. The ideal candidate brings deep alternative investment experience, a proven record of capital raising ability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a growing team.


Position Summary

This role is responsible for driving the sale of Valiants offerings to financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, and family offices.

This role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in alternative investments, advisor distribution, and business development, who thrives in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic territory and business development plans to drive fundraising and advisor engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, and family offices
  • Present investment opportunities, market updates, and portfolio strategies to prospective advisor networks
  • Educate advisors on alternative investment solutions, portfolio diversification strategies, and fund offerings
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events to expand distribution channels
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships
  • Maintain consistent communication with advisors and referral partners throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with internal leadership, operations, and compliance teams to support advisor onboarding and relationship management
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and sales activity tracking
  • Represent Valiant Funds at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities


Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in wholesaling for alternative investment products, tax-advantaged products, or private placements required
  • Strong understanding of alternative investment products and advisor distribution channels
  • Existing relationships with registered representatives and RIAs required
  • Proven success in business development and relationship management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-management abilities
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and investor relationship management systems (preferred). Familiarity with portfolio diversification and alternative asset strategies (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently within a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for advisor meetings, conferences, and events
