STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Furnace Braze Assembler to join the team. This position is responsible for the preparation and assembly of tubes and various metal components for furnace cycles by performing the following duties. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings, method sheets, and operating procedures to run production volume through vacuum furnace cycles.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding devices.
  • Stake, resistance, tack, cement, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Adjusts materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.
  • Loads and unloads furnace, establish correct settings, makes necessary adjustments to insure proper furnace operation.
  • Perform test and inspection to ensure proper production specifications and standards are met.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
