Role Description

The Vacation Sales Ambassador is a full-time, on-site role based in a variety of Hilton Hotels in Washington, DC area. This position is responsible for engaging with guests and prospective customers in person, presenting and selling vacation getaway packages, by guiding individuals through available packages and promotions. Day-to-day tasks include stopping, greeting and qualifying potential buyers in the hotel lobbies, explaining product features and benefits, answering questions, and overcoming objections in a professional manner thus leading to a sale.


Qualifications

  • Strong sales and persuasion abilities with an upbeat and outgoing personality, including comfort with closing deals and working toward defined performance goals. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly in a professional hospitality environment/hotel lobby.
  • Clear verbal communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain complex offerings in a simple, engaging way.
  • Basic proficiency with iPad, computers and customer relationship or point-of-sale systems (salesforce), and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
  • Professional, self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, timeshare, or vacation ownership is beneficial but not required.
  • College Degree, High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, sales, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.


Competitive Earnings Package

Earning potential Includes hourly/plus commission/plus monthly bonus pay structure.  Annual from $70,000-150,000.
