Job Title: Jet Vac Operator - Storm Drain Cleaning
Location: 6150 Nichols Dr, Mableton, GA 30126
Shift: Sunday - Thursday from 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Rate of Pay: $25 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Jet Vac Operator to join our team. This role involves operating specialized equipment to clean storm drains and catch basins as part of contractual services provided to our customers. The operator will work as part of a crew and must follow all safety and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities as a Jet Vac Operator :
  • Operate Jet Vac truck and related equipment for storm drain and wastewater system cleaning.
  • Drive and operate company vehicles in accordance with safety standards.
  • Support crew members in cleaning storm drains, catch basins, and removing wastewater.
  • Complete all required paperwork for both internal and customer documentation.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
  • Relay job-related updates, obstacles, or changes to office staff.
  • Document any changes to the project scope or work orders.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and arrange for necessary repairs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements of a Jet Vac Operator :
  • Valid CDL Class B with Tanker and Air Brake Endorsements.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
  • Must be able to read maps and navigate routes efficiently.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and pull hoses up to 500 feet.
  • Comfortable working night shifts, overtime, and traveling out of town when required.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work in environments with mechanical noise, fumes, odors, bodily fluids, and confined spaces.
  • Physically capable of walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the shift.
